  25. GoldWave is a sound editor, player, recorder, and converter
  26. for Windows.  You can use it to make sounds for website, 
  27. answering machine messages, or record audio from a microphone,
  28. turntable, cassette deck, or Internet streams.  It includes
  29. several audio restoration filters for remastering audio.

  85. Download the self-install program from the website, then
  86. run it to begin installation.

  90. Use the Windows "Add/Remove Programs" feature under Control
  91. Panel to remove GoldWave.

  93. To manually uninstall, delete the entire GoldWave folder.

  96. 3.0 Important Additional Notes

  99. 3.1) Windows 98SE or later is required to run this version.
  100. Do not install on Windows 95 or Windows NT.

  102. 3.2) Video display must be configured for 16-bit colour.

  104. 3.3) For MPEG Layer 3 support (mp3) you must have the Windows
  105. Media modules installed.  Installing the new version of
  106. Media Player will add these modules to your system.  To save
  107. MP3 files, either BladeEnc.dll or Lame_Enc.dll needs to be
  108. installed in the GoldWave folder.
