  113.   <a name="1006687"> </a>Painting with a Cloner brush is similar to painting with any Corel     Painter tool, except that Cloner variants take their color information from a clone source, instead of from the Colors palette.

  116.   <a name="1005231"> </a>Some Cloner brush variants reproduce source imagery directly. Other Cloner variants reproduce with low opacity and soft edges or use paper grain and specialized dabs for particular media effects.

  119.   <a name="1005257"> </a>When you paint with a Cloner brush, it picks up color from the clone source, while you control the size and direction of brush strokes. It's a great way to get Natural-Media renderings from photographic source material.

  132.   <a name="999136"> </a>The Corel     Painter brushes that have buildup methods, like pencils and felt pens, build toward black. If you clone with one of these brushes in a dark area of your image, you may not achieve the desired results. Use the Opacity slider or text box to control how rapidly these brushes build up to black. You can also choose chalk or one of the other tools that cover underlying colors.
