  2. Instructions for silent (unattended or scripted) installation of
  3. InstallShield-installed Web packages.
  4. =============================================================================

  6. These packages differ from other Toshiba Web packages in that they install
  7. using the InstallShield installers rather than the WinBatch-based Toshiba 
  8. Unattended Installer.  Because of this, it is not possible to have these Web
  9. titles perform a seamless silent install from the WinZip self-extracting Zip
  10. package.  Still, a silent install can be achieved with these packages.

  12. To do so, you'll need to manually extract the downloaded archive using WinZip
  13. or an equivalent UnZip utility.  It helps if you extract the archive into its
  14. own directory.  Once extracted, change to the directory where you extracted 
  15. the archive and run:

  19. either from the command prompt or your script.  This will start the
  20. InstallShield installer in 'silent' mode, accepting all defaults and
  21. suppressing all prompts.  You (or your script) will be responsible for
  22. performing any reboots which may be required.
