Tip_1=All panels can be adjusted by hovering the mouse over the gap between them and dragging. Choose the MegaView layout that is best for you. MegaView will remember all your favourite settings, but you can reset them with the 'Esc' key.
Tip_2=Always start your browsing at a particular folder? Why not set it as your 'Folders mode start up directory' under options?
Tip_3=We cannot say with 100% confidence that the actions of man are responsible for climate change, just as we cannot say with 100% confidence that jumping off a bridge will kill you. But in both cases, isn't it better to err on the side of caution?
Tip_4=Browsing your image collection when the boss walks in? Press the F12 key to quickly minimise MegaView.
Tip_5=Can't get the zoom settings you need using '+' and '-'? Select View | Zoom | Custom.. to enter an exact zoom percentage.
Tip_6=Can't quite see all the filename information in the status bar? Hover your mouse over it for a full display.
Tip_7=Can't see enough folders when using the Browse for Folder dialog box? You can make it higher by dragging the edges and MegaView will remember your preferred size!
Tip_8=Click the 'Window' Menu item for a list of all your current image windows. Select one to display it.
Tip_9=Does the beeping annoy you? You can disable it under Options.
Tip_10=Forgot to make MegaView your default viewer during your installation. You can change the file associations for all your image formats under File | Supported Formats, Associations tab
Tip_11=Found a nice image? Why not set it as your desktop wallpaper? Simply select it and click Image | Set as wallpaper
Tip_12=Getting 'Image not found' errors while browsing your bookmarks? Click the Bookmark Update button to clear out any files that have been moved or deleted.
Tip_13=Have a great idea for a new feature for MegaView or a whole new software product, but don't have the time or skills to enliven it? E-mail us at Xequte, we will make it worth your while!
Tip_14=Have some favourite images you always return to? Why not bookmark them and then save the bookmark as 'Favourites'.
Tip_15=How often do you really use the menu? Why not hide it (Ctrl+M) to save screen real estate.
Tip_16=If an image is taking too long to load, you cancel it by clicking the stop button!
Tip_17=If MegaView is your default viewer for images then you can double-click a file in Explorer to open it in MegaView, even if MegaView is already running!
Tip_18=If you add all your most commonly used folders to your 'favourites' button you will save 1,658,395 clicks each year in browsing through your folders.
Tip_19=If you find the display of Thumbnails too slow, increase the level of disk caching under Options, Thumbnail tab. It only costs a few extra KB of hard drive space per file.
Tip_20=If you have made changes to files or folders in other programs while you are running MegaView you may need to press the F5 key to update the display in Folders Mode.
Tip_21=If you like MegaView, tell your friends about it. As the number of registered users increases, the more development time we can justify and the better the product will be.
Tip_22=If you often have lots of image windows open, you can close them all quickly just by clicking 'Close all image windows' or Ctrl+W
Tip_23=If your computer is a little slow, instead of bookmarking images that you want to return to, open them in a new image window ('N' key) and browse between all your open windows with the 'W' key.
Tip_24=If your images don't quite look right, you can crop them, resize them or rotate or flip them by selecting the appropriate option under Image|Edit..
Tip_25=In Folders mode, clicking on the folder display with the right mouse button will give you a selection of folder management functions.
Tip_26=Instead of cursing next time MegaView annoys you, send us an e-mail and tell us how you think it should work!
Tip_27=Is it a bug or a feature? If MegaView is acting a little weirdly, e-mail us at support@xequte.com so we can fix it before the next release. Explain as much as you can about when it happens and what causes it.
Tip_28=Is your image collection getting too large? Try batch converting your images to JPEG format at about 75% compression. They will probably be much smaller than the originals with little noticeable difference in image quality.
Tip_29=Is your list of favourite folders getting out of date? Click 'Go to.. Update' to clear out all the folders that no longer exist.
Tip_30=It's the gifts you give to your loved ones when they don't expect it that show your true feelings!
Tip_31=Learn the keyboard shortcuts! It will make your MegaView experience much faster.
Tip_32=Need to add the same description to multiple files? Select the files then right-click them and select file description. Viola, The new description will be added to all the files.
Tip_33=To quickly scroll an image, click the left mouse button on the image and drag without releasing the button.
Tip_34=Negativity is contagious! Minimise your contact with negative people to maximise your well-being. If you can't avoid negative people, keep reminding them of the positive side of everything and then they will start avoiding you!
Tip_35=No matter where you go, people are basically the same; the same desires and the same fears. Look for those aspects you have in common with the people you meet rather than dwelling on your differences.
Tip_36=No matter where you travel in the world, try to talk to people who aren't just paid to be nice to you. That fleeting conversation you shared with a kindly old woman in Istanbul, who could hardly speak a word of English, will never leave you.
Tip_37=Not everything that you have been brought up to believe is necessarily true. Analyse your feelings and recognise those that are only based on the ignorance and misunderstanding of earlier generations. After all you wouldn't want to pass on this baggage to your children.
Tip_38=Not sure of the keyboard shortcuts? Hover the mouse over the buttons. The equivalent keyboard shortcut is displayed in square brackets.
Tip_39=Often edit your images? Specify the location of your editor under File|Supported Formats, Editor tab, then you can launch the current image into it with the 'E' key.
Tip_40=Often move or copy files to the same set of folders? Add them to your favourites list by selecting them in Folders mode and clicking 'Add Dir'. Now you can move or copy a file just by selecting them and double-clicking the folder in Quick Move/Copy toolbar.
Tip_41=Plant a tree! When all the rain forest has been chopped down you can cling to yours for oxygen.
Tip_42=Select the 'Simple Window' option in new windows if you want to maximise the image display area.
Tip_43=Sick of scrolling your images? Why not enable 'Shrink to Fit' by pressing Ctrl + '-'.
Tip_44=MegaView provides extensive support for Right-clicking. Try clicking on things with the right mouse button for a quick summary of relevant options.
Tip_45=MegaView supports full drag and drop integration with Windows! You can move, copy and create links to files and databases simply by dragging them to a new location.
Tip_46=MegaView supports multiple selection! Why perform an action twice when you can select both items and do it at the same time.
Tip_47=The second quickest way to move or copy files is with the X or C keys. They bring up the move/copy dialog and default to either Move or Copy, respectively
Tip_48=To quickly close a new image window press F4. To quickly close all image windows press Ctrl+W.
Tip_49=To quickly hide everything, except the image, double-click in the image area. Double-click again to return to your previous mode.
Tip_50=Use MegaView when e-mailing images to your friends. It offers options to automatically convert and reduce the send images so that they don't take too long to send or receive!

Tip_57=Want full-screen mode to display faster? Select the option 'Do not maximise screen in Full-screen mode' and always run MegaView maximised!
Tip_58=Want to batch assign keywords or descriptions to your files? Export your database and open the created file in a spreadsheet such as Excel, make the changes you want and save the file. Now import the file back into your MegaView database. Viola!
Tip_59=Want to open the displayed image in another application, but not your default editor? Hold Ctrl as you click 'Edit'. Now you can browse for a program to use.
Tip_60=Want to put your images up on the web? Use the HTML Creation Wizard to automatically create thumbnails and HTML index pages.
Tip_61=Want to quickly change your 'Shrink to fit' or 'Stretch to fit' zoom options? Click on the box in the very left-hand side of the status bar.
Tip_62=Want to quickly create a new folder when moving or copying a file? Simply type the desired folder into the destination folder box. MegaView will advise you that it can't find the folder and ask if you want to create it.
Tip_63=Want to remove the descriptions from all your files? Click Ctrl+A then, right-click the files and select File Description. If you clear the text box descriptions on all your files will be removed.
Tip_64=Want to rename all of your files to a particular name and number prefix. Highlight them all and then click 'Rename', then select the 'Batch Renaming' tab and enter the new name.
Tip_65=Want to show friends or chat buddies the images in your collection? Use the Thumb sheets function to export your thumbnails to images, then you only need to show them one image for a whole heap of files!
Tip_66=When using multiple image windows, press Shift+W to quickly display the main MegaView window.
Tip_67=Wondering what the '+' or '-' means in the left hand side of your status bar? These indicate that you have 'Stretch to fit' or 'Shrink to fit' enabled.
Tip_68=Work hard while you are young! Nobody ever complained on their deathbed that they shouldn't have retired a millionaire at 35.
Tip_69=Worried about forgetting your password and not being able to access your database? Back-up a version that does not require a password and restore it if you forget.

Tip_81=You can also automatically resize, rotate, flip or convert a series of images by selecting them all and clicking Image|Batch Conversion
