-
-
- <p>To create a static copy of a dynamic Web site, you should first
- download it. See the topic <a href="wrinfo://downloadwebsites">How to Download a Web Site</a>
- for more information.
-
- <p>Make sure the program is in Online mode and the Internet connection is available.
- Double click the task with your Web site (this will probably be the only task in
- your project). Offline Commander will load the home page into the built-in browser.
- Using the built-in browser, visit every page on your Web site and make sure it
- every page is displayed correctly. This is a necessary step if you want to avoid problems
- afterwards. After you have finished, you may disconnect from the Internet and
- switch the program to Offline mode.
-
- <p>From now on you will be able to browse the Web site offline in the Offline Commander.
- If you want to create a browsable copy of the site on disk you should export
- the project file. To export the project, click on the Export button on the main toolbar
- and select the folder on disk to which you want the site to be exported.
-
- <p>The exported site will use relative links so you will be able to move it to other
- folders or to serve it from a Web server.
-
- <p>If you have problems exporting a Web site read the Common Problems and Resolutions
- section of the topic <a href="wrinfo://downloadwebsites">"How to Download a Web Site"</a>.
