- and in separate directories.
-

- applications:
- - Windows CD Player
- - Windows Media Player up to version 8.x
- - Plus Pack Deluxe CD player
- - MusicMatch(tm) versions 4.x and above
- - RealJukeBox(tm) versions 1.x, 2.x

-
-
- 2.2 Double on-screen key effects superimposed on each other
-
- This can happen on computers that already have other
- multimedia keyboard software installed. To correct this, you
- will need to uninstall the other keyboard software using the
- Add/Remove Programs applet in the Windows Control Panel.
-
- This can also show up briefly when you press the "Play/Pause"
- key and "Volume" keys too fast.
-
- 2.3 Pressing the "Play/Pause" key may cause the Mediamatics DVD
- player to stop responding or freeze.
-
- This is a known defect in the application itself and we have
- notified them. You should check the Mediamatics Web Site for
- any available fixes or workarounds.
-
- 2.4 Using the "Play" key
-
- With iTouch installed, pressing the "Play" key will launch
- the default CD player and automatically play an audio CD if it
- is in the CD-ROM drive. When using the multimedia keys to play
- MP3s or other supported digital song formats from a playlist,
- the "Play" key may only launch the player and could be out of
- sync (refer to section 2.2). Some applications like MusicMatch
- will start playing the first song in the playlist.
-
- 2.5 Using the Multimedia Keys with DVD ROMs
-
- Before you can use the multimedia keys with DVD-ROMs, you
- need to launch the DVD Player application first.
-
- Some earlier versions of the Cinemaster(tm) DVD player
- software may not work with the multimedia keys.
-
-
- 3. Using the iTouch keys
-
- 3.1 Standby on WinXP doesn't work for PS/2
-
- If using the sleep key with a MicrosoftXP OS, the first function
- will take you to the log-off screen. If you select the sleep key
- again, no function will be performed.
-
- 3.2 Support for the iNav Favorites feature
-
- iNav favorites is not supported under AOL 7, Opera
- and MSN6.
-
- 3.3 Assigning a website to an iTouch key is not supported for
- Netscape 6.0
-
- Netscape 6.1 / 6.2 do work fine; please upgrade to the latest
- version of Netscape.
-
- 3.4 Support for the new Office "F" keys
-
- When using the new Office "F" keys, the new functionality is
- only supported under Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and IE.
- If the new Office "F" keys are used under any other application,
- unexpected results may occur.
-
- 3.5 Support for E-mail "F" keys
-
- When using the email "F" keys, the new functionality is only
- supported under Outlook, Outlook Express and Lotus Notes. If
- the new email "F" keys are used under any other application,
- unexpected results may occur.
-
- 3.6 Support for the Redo Office "F" key
-
- The Office Redo "F" key is supported by application that have
- a redo function. Applications such as Notepad or Wordpad do
- not have the redo function therefore are not supported by the
- Redo "F" key.
-
- 3.7 Mouse on the PS/2 port freezes during iTouch install and
- uninstall on Windows 2000.
-
- If the mouse is plugged into the PS/2 port and the keyboard
- is plugged into the USB port and you install iTouch only, the
- mouse freezes at 98% installed. The mouse will continue to
- operate correctly after you reboot the computer.
-
- 3.8 Mouse on the PS/2 port may stop working after coming out of
- standby on Windows 2000
-
- If the mouse is plugged into the PS/2 port and the keyboard
- is plugged into the USB port the mouse may stop working after
- coming out of standby on Windows 2000. Possible workaround,
- connect the keyboard on PS/2, or alternatively connecting
- the mouse on USB.
