  9. Description

  11. Install-It is a great add-on for the homemade CD.  It allows 
  12. you to automatically launch a program installer upon inserting 
  13. the CD.  Install-It can organize and handle a whole CD of
  14. installation files.

  18. Requirements
  19. ===============================================================
  20. You must follow these requirements in order for Install-It to 
  21. launch properly upon inserting the CD:
  22.  
  23. 1.  DO NOT change the name of the Install-It application 
  24.     program - it should be titled "Install.exe."
  25.  
  26.  
  27. 2.  Set up the "Install.ini" file.  The Install.ini file 
  28.     should contain all of the application setup files that are 
  29.     included on the CD.  Add the files in this format:
  30.  
  31.     Application Name,Application Path;
  32.

  34.     Example:   
  35.     Microsoft Office 2000,MSOffice2000\setup.exe;
  36.     Winamp v2.5,Winamp\install.exe;
  37.     WinZip v3.0,WinZip\setup.exe;

  40.     ("Microsoft Office 2000" is the name that the Install-It 
  41.      user will select to install the application.
  42.      "MSOffice2000\setup.exe" is the location of the installation
  43.      file on the CD.  DO NOT include the full path of the install 
  44.      file, e.g. D:\MSOffice2000\setup.exe)

  47. 3.  Include the following files in the root directory of your CD:

  49.     ASYCFILT.DLL
  50.     Autorun.inf
  51.     COMCAT.DLL
  52.     COMDLG32.OCX
  53.     Install.exe
  54.     Install.ini
  55.     MSVBVM60.DLL
  56.     OLEAUT32.DLL
  57.     OLEPRO32.DLL
  58.     STDOLE2.TLB
