  2.    ATnotes, Version 8.1

  5. ATnotes is a FREEWARE program which creates Post-it like notes on the Windows
  6. desktop. The user interface is provided through an icon in the taskbar and
  7. supports english and german language, which is set automatically according
  8. to the system default language.

  10. You are allowed to use and distribute ATnotes for free, but you are NOT allowed
  11. to sell ATnotes for profit. You are using ATnotes at your own risk, no
  12. responsibility is taken for damages to your computer system. However i've not
  13. heard of any problems yet. :-)

  15. Requirements
  16. ------------
  17. ATnotes runs on Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000 and requires COMCTL32.DLL version 4.71
  18. or higher. Windows 98/ME/2000 already have this file in the correct version. If
  19. you are using Windows 95/NT4 and don't have the file in the required version, you
  20. can download it at http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q186/1/76.asp

  22. Install
  23. -------
  24. Start the Setup ATNSETUP.EXE and follow the instructions. Please note that you do
  25. NOT have to uninstall to upgrade to a new version: just install the new version
  26. in the same directory as the old version.

  28. Uninstall
  29. ---------
  30. Open Control Panel / Software, select ATnotes and click on "Add/Remove".
  31. CAUTION: Do NOT uninstall to upgrade to a new version: you would lose all your
  32. notes and settings!
