  11. Excel Report Builder is an easy and convenient tool for the creation 
  12. and customisation of reports which takes advantage of the formatting
  13. and presentation capabilities of Microsoft Excel 7.0,8.0,2000. The program allows
  14. the rapid construction of reports as forms and columnar reports.

  17. Here are some of the features of Excel Report Builder:

  19. A GUI style design environment, which allows the user to design 
  20. their reports visually inside MS Excel. 
  21.                     
  22. On screen preview facilities, also within MS Excel. 
  23.                     
  24. Reports can be saved and then viewed and printed as pure Excel documents -
  25. there is no need to send any additional executables to third parties
  26. to whom you wish to send reports.

  28. The GUI interface means that the learning curve is minimal and 
  29. that users can be operational with a minimum of delay.

  31. Excel Report Builder has the ability to produce mailing labels 
  32. and multi-column reports using the capacities of Excel.

  37. The page size can automatically be scaled down in order to print 
  38. several report pages on each sheet of printer paper.

  52. programmes  (put_rep1.exe).

  54. The command line mode
  55. For creation of the report in the command mode type string of the following 
  56. pattern: put_rep1.exe c:\vista\NAME.REP.

  58. Where NAME.REP this name of the file of parameters created with the help of 
  59. the program Word Report Builder.

  61. The report will be generated according to parameters indicated in NAME.REP.
  62. If the output file of the report already exists, the new report will be added to the 
  63. end of the existing one. After termination the work the message on completion of 
  64. creation of the report will be outputted.

  66. The combination of the above qualities make the Excel Report Builder a tool 
  67. which should be considered seriously by any organisation with a need 
  68. to effectively and efficiently disseminate information both between
