  9. To install WhereIsIt? on your computer, run the SETUP.EXE file and follow 
  10. the on-screen instructions. No additional actions are required.

  16. You can un-install WhereIsIt? from your computer by choosing "Add/Remove
  17. Programs" option in Control Panel, and double-clicking WhereIsIt?'s entry.

  20. INSTALL TROUBLESHOOTING

  23. Included with the installation package is 50COMUPD.EXE file. This is 
  24. Microsoft's update package for COMCTL32.DLL system library file, for both 
  25. Windows 9x and Windows NT. WhereIsIt? needs to have COMCTL32.DLL updated to 
  26. version 5.00.2614.3600 or newer in order to run properly.
  27. Installation program will run this update during program installation, if
  28. neccessary, and normally you can ignore this file entirely. If, by any
  29. chance, COMCTL32.DLL fails to get upgraded during program setup, you can
  30. run the 50COMUPD.EXE file yourself, and reboot computer when so requested.

  32. In some rare cases it has been known for the installation program to stop
  33. for a longer period after copying files is completed. Occasionally it 
  34. completes the task, sometimes it just stops responding. This has to do with
  35. communicating with Explorer in order to create a program group and icons
  36. for WhereIsIt? . If you encounter this problem, you should be able to install 
  37. the program normally if you just restart your Windows and run the install 
  38. program again. If this doesn't work either (no such case known so far), you
  39. can always avoid the issue by selecting not to create a program group.
