  4. PURPOSE

  6. Terrain Tools - Freeware Edition is a quick and easy mapping package.  
  7. Coordinates can be entered using the mouse, typed in, or imported from
  8. external files.  Scanned topographic maps, air photos and other bitmap 
  9. images can also be incorporated.

  11. Terrain Tools runs in Windows 3.1, Windows/95, Windows/98 and Windows/NT.

  13. INSTALLATION
  14. ============
  15.   The Terrain.zip contains this text file and a Terrain.exe an installer 
  16.   executable (Terrain.exe).  To begin the installation process double click
  17.   on the Terrain.exe file.

  22.    PERMITTED USES
  23.    You may:
  24.     -Install this software on a single computer or networked system subject
  25.      to the conditions of this agreement.
  26.     -Freely distribute copies of this software subject to the conditions

  30.    You shall not:
  31.     - Rent, lease, lend, sub-license, or transfer your rights under this Agreement.
  32.     - Alter, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the Software.
  33.     - Remove or obscure the Softree Copyright and Trademark notices.
  34.     - Transfer passwords, hardware keys or other security related information.

  37.     You agree that the Software, Software copies and Related Materials are the valuable
  38.     property of Softree and embody substantial creative effort, confidential information,
  39.     copyrighted works and trade secrets of Softree, all of which at all times remain the
  40.     sole and exclusive property of Softree. This License Agreement gives you certain
  41.     limited rights to use the Software, Software Copies and Related Materials. You do
  42.     not become the owner and Softree retains title to all the Software, Software Copies
  43.     and Related Materials. Except as specifically permitted by this license Agreement,
  44.     you agree not to use for your own benefit, publish or otherwise disclose to others or
  45.     permit the use by others for their benefit or to the detriment of Softree, any such
  46.     Software, Software Copies, or Related Materials. In addition, you agree to use
  47.     reasonable efforts to protect the Software, and Softree's exclusive ownership thereof,
  48.     from unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or publication.
