  19. 1. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  20.  
  21.     Turbo Navigator runs on any computer running Windows 95, 98,
  22.     98SE, ME, NT 4.0, 2000 and later provided that system has
  23.     the latest version of ComCtl32.dll file installed. The
  24.     latest version of this file can be found on the following
  25.     web address:

  28.     If you are running Windows 98 or you have Internet Explorer
  29.     4.0 or later installed you don't need to update your
  30.     ComCtl32.dll file.

  33. 2. INSTALL
  34.  
  35.     You have to run TNSETUP.EXE to install Turbo Navigator
  36.     on your computer. If you have an older version of Turbo
  37.     Navigator please be sure it is closed before running
  38.     TNSETUP.EXE.

  41. 3. UNINSTALL
  42.  
  43.     To uninstall Turbo Navigator go to Control Panel
  44.     Add/Remove Programs applet and uninstall it from there.
  45.     Don't remove files manually as the options stored in the
  46.     registry will not be removed. Please ensure Turbo
  47.     Navigator is closed before uninstalling.

  50. 4. DESCRIPTION
  51.  
  52.     Turbo Navigator is advanced, highly customisable
  53.     file manager for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000. It works as
  54.     Windows Explorer but with one main difference: it uses two
  55.     file panels, as in Symantec's Norton Commander, a well
  56.     known commercial file manager for DOS and Windows. Some
  57.     of the key features include:
  58.       -Full Drag and Drop capability;
  59.       -Built-in file viewer for text, RTF and binary files;
  60.       -System Tree View for both panels - able to mimic
  61.        Windows Explorer.
  62.       -Advanced change attributes capability
  63.        (recurse subdirectories, ability to change System
  64.        attribute, ability to change Created/Modified/Accessed
  65.        file time/date stamp);
  66.       -Copy speed display;
  67.       -Advanced filtering capability
  68.        (in file panels and in basic operations like copy, move
  69.        and delete);
  70.       -Built-in favourites for quick directory change;
  71.       -Ability to wipe the files from the disk so they can not
  72.        be undeleted;
  73.       -Fully customisable colours in the file panels;
  74.       -Built-in Media Player for quick preview of WAV, MID,
  75.        MP3, AVI, MPG and other supported file formats without
  76.        any need for opening separate applications;

  163.     TN.EXE (main Turbo Navigator executable file) is compressed
  164.     with UPX. If you want to decompress it you have to download
  165.     the latest version of UPX from UPX web site:
  166.       http://upx.tsx.org

  168.     TN is compressed with UPX to maintain it's small file size
  169.     so it can be easily copied to floppy disk and transferred
  170.     to another computer without any need for installing it
  171.     again.
