  1. To create a Boot Diskette:
  2.  
  3. 1) Ensure that the following files are all in the same directory:
  4.      MK_BOOT.BAT
  5.      COMMAND.COM
  6.      DOS.SYS
  7.      INSTBOOT.EXE
  8. 2) Place a blank formatted diskette in drive a: 
  9. 3) At the command line prompt in the above directory, type MK_BOOT.BAT. 
  10. 4) Follow the prompts.
  11. 5) The diskette should now contain the files: COMMAND.COM and DOS.SYS.
