  1.             How to register QuickStar Phone Guard Program

  4.         The QuickStar Phone Guard program you now have may be an
  5. unregistered copy of shareware. If you are still using it beyond
  6. 30 days, that means you like it and you want to keep it. I will
  7. be happy to learn that.
  8.  
  9.         QuickStar Phone Guard is a shareware program. That means
  10. it is a user supported program. I developed this program because
  11. there is a need of such an answer machine program. With support
  12. and encouragement from users like you, I will be able to work
  13. hard to try to improve it and make it better.

  15.         The registration fee for this program is only $35. If you
  16. like this program and want me to make it better, please register
  17. it with me. As a registered user, you will be able to upgrade to
  18. future versions for free, without paying any additional upgrade
  19. loyalty fee, even if the registration fee may raise in the future.

  23.                 License agreement for Registered Users

  25.     The author of QuickStar Phone Guard shareware warrants that this
  26. program will work the same on your computer within three month after
  27. you register it, if it has been working fine in the past. If it does
  28. not work properly due to occurrence of a new problem and the author
  29. is unable to help, your original registration fee may be refunded,
  30. less $5 postage and handling fee, if it is still within 3 monthes of
  31. your initial registration. The author expressly disclaims any warranty
  32. other than the above. And the author will not be held liable for any
  33. damage or loss or any legal responsibility due to the usage of this
  34. program. The QuickStar softwares are provided "as is" and the user
  35. takes his/her own risk in using QuickStar Phone Guard. Under any
  36. circumstance the only compensation the user may get from the author
  37. is the refund of the original paid registration fee, minus a $5
  38. postage and handling fee.

  42.                 How and where to send the registration
  43.  
  44.         To register QuickStar Phone Guard.
  45.           1.Run the program, Open the "Help" menu and select the
  46.             "Register" item, it will display the software serial
  47.             number. You MUST provide the correct serial number to
  48.             be able to register and get a valid license number
  49.             from me. Once you enter the correct license number,
  50.             it is registered and the nag screen will disappear.

  52.           2.Fill out the form, contained in the file REGISTER.FRM,
  53.             which is simply a plain text file. Print it out and
  54.             sign it with your name. Double check to make sure
  55.             your correct E-Mail address (if you have one) or your
  56.             post address is on it. I normally send out the license
  57.             number by E-Mail the same day I receive your check.

  59.           3.Enclose a check of US$35.00, payable to: Anthony Mai
  60.             in the registration letter. International users may
  61.             send international money orders, international
  62.             traveler's cheques or US$35 worth of local currency.
