  9. Description :
  10. A small program - similar to xsysinfo which is mostly configurable using
  11. resources via ~/.Xresources. Shows actual CPU, swap, memory, active
  12. interrupts and -if wanted- netpacket statistics.
  13. If you want to get informations about 'network traffic' you still have to
  14. call ipfwadm (included in the same package) to activate this as root.
  15. This might look like:
  16. /sbin/ipfwadm -A -a -P all -S <own IP-address> -D 0/0
  17. /sbin/ipfwadm -A -a -P all -S 0/0 -D <own IP-address>
  18. Please have a look at /usr/doc/packages/xosview/README.linux.
  19. For showing shared pages, the module
  20. memstat.o
  21. has to be loaded with insmod.  The source of the module is located
  22. in /usr/doc/packages/xosview/memstat/.
  23. The installation is necessary only after an upgrade of the kernel.
