  11. mod_dav is an Apache module to provide DAV capabilities for your
  12. Apache web server. It is an Open Source module, provided under an
  13. Apache-style license.
  14. mod_dav currently implements a Class 1 and Class 2 DAV server. This
  15. means that it provides all the basic DAV facilities for manipulating
  16. resources (files) on the target web server, along with manipulating
  17. properties on those resources. In addition, it handles the (un)locking
  18. of resources so that clients can have exclusive access to modify
  19. resources.
