  10. JOVE (Jonathan's Own Version of Emacs) is a text editor based mainly
  11. on the original Emacs editor written by Richard Stallman at M.I.T.
  12. Although jove is mostly Emacs compatible there are several differences
  13. so that you shouldn't rely on it. Jove offers you e.g. automatic
  14. indentation, multiple view of more than one file, and shorthands
  15. in form of keys, words, lines and paragraphs
  16. A mostly Emacs compatible text editor, with man pages and the
  17. 'teachjove' tutorial program. If you'd rather have the real thing,
  18. the actual Emacs editor/environment is available as disk series 'E'.
  19. JOVE is configured by /var/lib/jove/jove.rc.
