<P>The <CODE>DirHandle</CODE> method provide an alternative interface to the
opendir(), closedir(), readdir(), and <A HREF="../lib/Pod/perlfunc.html#item_rewinddir"><CODE>rewinddir()</CODE></A> functions.</P>
<P>The only objective benefit to using <CODE>DirHandle</CODE> is that it avoids
namespace pollution by creating globs to hold directory handles.</P>
