  1. LICENSE AGREEMENT

  4. Use of this software indicates your acceptance of the 
  5. following license agreement:

  7. In the following, TGUI2CONSOLE Component for Delphi and C++Builder
  8. will be referred to as the 'software'.
  9.  
  10. License
  11. -------

  13. REDSystems grants to you the right to use one copy of this 
  14. software on a single computer.
  15. The software is in use when it is loaded into temporary memory
  16. (i.e: RAM) or installed into permanent memory (e.g: hard disk, 
  17. or other storage device).
  18. As part of the free use of this component it is asked that the use
  19. of this component is recognized in an 'About' box.  Please refer to
  20. this component as TGUI2CONSOLE from REDSYS.

  22. Copyright

  25. The software is owned by the REDSystems and is protected by 
  26. U.S. copyright laws, international treaty provisions, and 
  27. all other applicable national laws. Therefore, you must treat 
  28. the software like any other copyrighted material.  
  29. REDSystems retains all rights not expressly granted.  
  30. You may make one copy of the software solely for backup or 
  31. archival purposes.

  33. Other Restrictions

  36. You may not sublicense, assign, or transfer the license to the
  37. software unless the receiving party agrees to the terms and 
  38. conditions of this agreement.  Should you transfer the license 
  39. to the software you must also transfer all copies to the 
  40. receiving party and destroy any remaining copies. Any attempt 
  41. otherwise to sublicense, assign, or transfer any of the right, 
  42. duties or obligations hereunder is void.
  43. If you licensed the source code for this software, you may not
  44. use it to sell or otherwise distribute products similar to
  45. the software.
  46. This restriction does not apply to application executables you
  47. created, using the software or parts of it.

  49. Termination
  50. -----------

  52. This License Agreement is effective until terminated.  
  53. You may terminate it at any time by returning or destroying 
  54. the license together with all copies, in any form and so 
  55. notifying the REDSystems in writing of your intention to terminate 
  56. this license.  It will also terminate upon conditions set 
  57. forth elsewhere in the Agreement or if you infringe any 
  58. copyright of REDSystems or fail to comply with any term or 
  59. condition of this License Agreement.

  62. Limited Warranty
  63. ----------------

  65. REDSystems warrants that the magnetic media or the archive file
  66. on which the software is distributed and the user documentation
  67. are free from defects in materials and workmanship.  
  68. REDSystems will replace defective media or user documentation 
  69. at no charge, provided you return the item with dated proof of 
  70. payment to REDSystems within 90 days of the date of delivery. 
  71. If REDSystems is unable to replace defective media or user 
  72. documentation, REDSystems will refund the amount you paid for 
  73. the software. These are your sole remedies for any breach of 
  74. warranty.

  76. Except as specifically provided herein, the REDSystems makes no 
  77. warranty or representation, either express or implied , with 
  78. respect to this software or user documentation, including their
  79. quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for a 
  80. particular purpose.
  81.  
  82. Because software is inherently complex and may not be 
  83. completely free of errors, you are advised to verify your 
  84. work and to make backup copies. In no event will REDSystems
  85. be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, cover, 
  86. or consequential damages arising out of the use of or 
  87. inability to use the software or user documentation, even if 
  88. advised of the possibility of such damages. In no case shall 
  89. REDSystem's liability one tenth of the amount paid by you for
  90.  the software.
