MapBook version 0.22
Preface
-------
MapBook is the software which displays BitMap.
You can use MapBook in PalmOS above 2.0.
MapBook provide you with the function of a simple navigator
by linking GPS receivers which output data standardized NMEA0183.
You can also use MapBook as a map which you can write in
if you don't have GPS receivers.
MapBook accepts your input of labels based on map data.
Off course, you can try more and more use because BitMap data
cannot only be used as maps.

Functions
---------
<>BitMap Converter
Displays and converts BitMap files in Windows.
1) converts colour BitMap files into monochrome BitMap
files automatically.
2) inputs labels to maps and edits them on maps.
3) inputs the map area indicated by the latitude and
the longitude because you know that you can be navigated.
4) outputs converted data into the PalmOS database.
<>MapBook
Displays files converted by BitMap converters.
1) inputs and edits labels.
2) accepts data from GPS receivers, searches in registered
databases, displays the corresponding map, shows
the present place by the coordinates and the cursor.
MapBook searches as follows;
i) searches in the database of the navigating area.
ii) displays the map. MapBook adopts the narrowest
area within the scope registered in the database.
The database keeps area data indicated by
the latitude and the longitude.
The present latitude and longitude are sent from GPS.
You can switch to the new map according as
you move if you provide some area data.
You can also zoom if you keep different scope data.
3) MapBook can display your track within the present page.
The track can be switched every second or every minute.
Because MapBook doesn't save the track data, the track
disappears if you switch the page.
