  12. Vendors and Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the Exoplex 
  13. Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package.

  21. Workgroup File Manager and Intranet Publisher.

  23. The Exoplex Intranet Publisher allows the members of a workgroup 
  24. to organise, publish and re-use the information they generate as a 
  25. routine part of their daily activities.  By following a set of basic
  26. tutorials, even relatively novice computer users can install the
  27. Exoplex Intranet Publisher and begin using it productively in under
  28. an hour. Windows 95/NT4 shareware. Free thirty (30) day trial.

  34. Individuals who wish to distribute the Exoplex Intranet Publisher 
  35. 0.31 <ASP> package to friends or associates may do so in accordance 
  36. with the restrictions outlined in LICENSE.TXT.
  37.  
  38. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the Exoplex Intranet
  39. Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package to their disk library may do so in 
  40. accordance with the Distribution Restrictions listed below.

  54. As the exclusive copyright holder for the Exoplex Intranet Publisher 
  55. 0.31 <ASP>, Exoplex authorizes distribution only in accordance with 
  56. the following restrictions.  ASP Approved Vendors in good standing 
  57. are hereby given permission to distribute the Exoplex Intranet 
  58. Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package.  Non-ASP member vendors must request 
  59. permission prior to distributing this package.

  61. The Exoplex Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package is defined as 
  62. containing all the material listed in the PACKING.LST text file. If
  63. any files listed in the PACKING.LST text file, or the PACKING.LST 
  64. file itself, are missing, then the package is not complete and 
  65. distribution is forbidden.  Please contact us to obtain a complete 
  66. package suitable for distribution.

  68. The Exoplex Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package - including all 
  69. related program files and documentation files - CANNOT be modified 
  70. in any way and must be distributed as a complete package, without 
  71. exception.  The PACKING.LST text file contains a list of all files 
  72. that are part of the Exoplex Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package.

  74.    Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or 
  75.    installation batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, 
  76.    are acceptable.

  78. No price or other compensation may be charged for the Exoplex 
  79. Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package.  A distribution fee may be 
  80. charged for the cost of the diskette, shipping and handling, as 
  81. long as the total (per disk) does not exceed US$8.00 in the U.S. 
  82. and Canada, or US$12.00 internationally.

  84. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  86. The Exoplex Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package CANNOT be sold 
  87. as part of some other inclusive package.  Nor can it be included 
  88. in any commercial software packaging offer, without a written 
  89. agreement from Exoplex.

  98.    ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the Exoplex Intranet 
  99.    Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package as part of a collection (such as 
  100.    PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) may do so provided that 
  101.    all the other restrictions are met.

  103.    Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute the
  104.    Exoplex Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package as part of a 
  105.    collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) must
  106.    obtain permission from Exoplex prior to beginning such a 
  107.    distribution.

  109.    If you wish to add any of our programs to a CD-ROM or other 
  110.    collection, please check the release date of the version you have.
  111.    If the version is over three (3) months old then please contact 
  112.    us to ensure that you have the current version.  This version 
  113.    was released in November, 1997.

  115. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  117. If you would like to distribute the Exoplex Intranet Publisher 
  118. 0.31 <ASP> package as a Disk-of-the-Month, or as part of a 
  119. subscription or monthly service, then the following restrictions 
  120. apply:

  122.    ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby 
  123.    given permission to distribute the Exoplex Intranet Publisher 
  124.    0.31 <ASP> package under the Disk-of-the-Month style of 
  125.    distribution.

  127.    Others (non-ASP Members) must contact us in advance to ensure 
  128.    that you have the most current version of the software.
  129.  
  130.    You cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month distribution to use up your 
  131.    inventory of old (out of date) disks.  Only current versions 
  132.    may be shipped as Disk-of-the-Month disks.

  134. The PRINTED User's Guide may not be reproduced in whole or in part, 
  135. using any means, without the written permission of Exoplex.  In 
  136. other words, the disk-based documentation may not be distributed in 
  137. PRINTED (hardcopy) form.

  145. The Exoplex Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package cannot be "rented" 
  146. or "leased" to others.

  148. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, 
  149. or other literature which describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".
  150. Shareware is "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.
  151.  
  152. Exoplex prohibits the distribution of outdated versions of the
  153. Exoplex Intranet Publisher 0.31 <ASP> package, without written 
  154. permission from Exoplex.   If the version you have is over three (3)
  155. months old, please contact us to ensure that you have the most 
  156. current version.  This version was released in November, 1997.
  157.  
  158. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  159. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed
  160. program except as provided in this agreement.  Any unauthorized use
  161. shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  163. U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the
  164. U.S. Government of the computer software and documentation in this
  165. package shall be subject to the restricted rights applicable to
  166. commercial computer software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii)
  167. of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at
  168. 252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The Contractor/manufacturer is
  169. Exoplex, P.O. Box 847, Artarmon, NSW, 2064 (Australia).

  215. Vendor Update Program:
  216. ----------------------

  218. Most non-ASP vendors have standard procedures for acquiring new
  219. files.  They get them from other vendors, BBSs, etc.  Most authors
  220. cannot afford to mail disks to hundreds (perhaps thousands) of
  221. vendors.  However, some vendors prefer to obtain programs directly
  222. from the authors.  If you would like to obtain programs directly
  223. from us, automatically, then please help us to cover the cost.

  225. If you are NOT an ASP Approved Vendor (in good standing), but you
  226. would still like to receive automatic updates directly from us,
  227. then please take advantage of our Vendor Update Program.  Under
  228. this program you can receive updates for an entire year for only
  229. US$10 per program (this helps to offset our costs).

  239. To receive updates, simply send us a letter with your name, company
  240. name, mailing address, the name of the person we should contact
  241. (such as your disk librarian), the program (or programs) for which
  242. you would like to receive updates, and a check or money order for
  243. US$10 for each program (Countries outside of North America please
  244. add an additional US$10 per program).  Payment drawn on U.S. or
  245. Australian banks only please.  The Vendor Update Program is available
  246. for the following products (as of November, 1997):

  250. All vendors participating in our Vendor Update Program will
  251. automatically receive any NEW programs which we may release while
  252. their Vendor Update Program is in effect.

  254. NOTE: ASP Associate Members automatically receive free updates and
  255.       do not need to apply for the Vendor Update Program.  This is
  256.       yet another advantage to being an ASP Associate Member.

  258. The Vendor Update Program is only intended to help us cover our
  259. expenses in those cases where a vendor desires to obtain the
  260. program directly from us.  If you have other standard ways to
  261. obtain programs, then you may prefer not to use our Vendor Update
  262. Program.
