  24. This distribution contains Voodoo3 display drivers and control 
  25. panel for Windows NT 4.0 or higher.

  31. Requirements
  32. ------------
  33. - Windows NT 4.0 or higher
  34. - PC with a Pentium II, Pentium Pro, Pentium or similar processor
  35. - 16MB of RAM or more Suggested

  38. Fresh Installation / Upgrade Existing Drivers
  39. ---------------------------------------------

  41. NOTE: For Fresh Installations, complete Steps 1 - 9 before removing 
  42. your existing 2D card.  If existing Voodoo3 drivers are being updated,
  43. installation is complete once step 9 is done.
  44.  
  45. 1) Extract the files for the Voodoo3 driver to a directory.
  46. 2) Log-in to Windows NT as Administrator.
  47. 3) Click Start, Contol Panel.  Double-click on Display.
  48. 4) Click the settings tab then click "Change"
  49. 6) Click "Have Disk" and enter the path to the extracted drivers.
  50. 7) When asked to choose a device, select "Voodoo3"
  51. 8) You may then be prompted to insert the Windows NT Voodoo3 Driver Disk.
  52.    Enter the path to the drivers again.
  53. 9) Windows NT will copy the drivers.

  55. Steps 10-13 are only used during a fresh installation
  56.  
  57. 10) Power off the system and remove your existing 2D card.
  58. 11) Install the Voodoo3 Card in a free PCI/AGP Slot
  59. 12) Power on the system and verify that video appears during post
  60. 13) Start Windows NT.  If problems occur, revert to "Last Known Good"
  61.     from within the Windows NT startup options.
