  1. Whats New for Version 1.1
  2.  
  3. - The grid has been added that helps organizer the information 
  4. on the screen and printer. It is on by default but can be 
  5. turned on/off from the Options menu in the View menu.
  6.  
  7. - A four line synopsis incase you forget what your movies are 
  8. about.  The synopsis is also on by default but can be turned 
  9. off in the Options menu.
  10.  
  11. - An option for the program to ignore "the" when sorting by the
  12. movie title.  This can also be turned on/off from the options
  13.  menu.
  14.  
  15. - A few printing options that will allow you to print one 
  16. movie per page, print a page break after each letter of 
  17. the alphabet, or print as many movies per page as will fit.  
  18. The option to print a page break after each letter of the 
  19. alphabet will make the program start each new letter on a 
  20. different sheet of paper.  This is handy if you want to put 
  21. your list in a binder that is tabbed (all the A's together, 
  22. all the B's together, etc).

  26. Just fixed one bug - the media type box showed the movie type
  27. instead of the media type.

  30. Version 1.2
  31. - Added page numbers.  They are optional (of coarse) and can be 
  32. turned on/off from the Options Menu.  It does take up a couple 
  33. of lines at the bottom of the pages and sometimes that can make 
  34. a big difference in the number of pages that it will take to 
  35. print out your list. Personally, I use the smallest font that I 
  36. can read comfortably so that it takes up less paper and prints 
  37. more movies per page.  I added the page number in the form of 
  38. "Page 1 of 50". When you are going to print your list, if you 
  39. use Print Preview (from the File Menu) and look at the bottom of 
  40. the page, it will show you how many pages it will take to print 
  41. your list.

  43. - Added new 3D graphics but this is optional also.  Controlled 
  44. from the Options Menu also. Although I think it looks better than 
  45. how it did before, it does take up more space when printing the 
  46. list.
  47.  
  48. - Added 4 custom fields.  You can call the fields whatever you 
  49. want to, enter whatever info you want to into them, and sort by 
  50. them if you want to.  Once again the custom fields are optional.  
  51. You turn them all on or off, or turn on or off individual fields.
  52.  
  53. - Changed the View Titles Only to One Line Sorts and added a one 
  54. line sort for each of the sort icons on the toolbar.  This made 
  55. 10 more sorts and all are 1 line sorts.  I like these sorts alot 
  56. because it really condenses the information and takes up a lot 
  57. less paper to print out.  Look at the Options Menu (under the 
  58. View Menu) and then the One Line Sorts dialog box for printing 
  59. options for these sorts.

  61. - Added selective printing.  Instead of just being able to print 
  62. a page or pages, now you can select the entries that you want to 
  63. print.  You were able to do that with the lables already, but not 
  64. with the movie list.
  65.  
  66. - Added a new print option called "Print a Page Break after each 
  67. Name Change".  There was already a print option that was called 
  68. "Print a Page Break after each Letter of the alphabet".  These 
  69. two same a lot alike but work quite differently.  For example, 
  70. lets say that you are printing your list sorted by movie type. 
  71. "Action" and "adventure" would be printed on the same page if 
  72. you used "Print a Page Break after each Letter of the Alphabet" 
  73. because they both start with the letter "A".  Using the new method, 
  74. they would be printed on different pages because the "Name" 
  75. changed.  This is a good option to use if you want different types 
  76. of movies printed on separate pages so that you can separate them 
  77. in a folder.
  78.  
  79. - Added four icons on the tool bar for the custom sorts so that you 
  80. won't have to go to the View Menu to use them.  Also added 3 icons 
  81. to the tool bar that represent "Normal View", "Display in Lable 
  82. Format", and "One Line Sorts".  Once again, I think having the icons
  83. on the tool bar makes the program easier and faster to use.

  85. - Added a Go To Icon on the tool bar to help you find what you want 
  86. faster.
  87.  
  88. - Added a header to pages that are printed while using the "Print 
  89. a Page Break after each letter of the Alphabet" and "Print a Page 
  90. Break after each Name Change".  The header is optional and 
  91. controlled in the Normal View dialog box in the Options Menu.
