  6. IMPORTANT for ASUS V3000 Series Users:
  7. Before Installing, make sure you have installed NT 4.0 Service Pack 3.0,
  8. otherwise NT 4.0 will hang up when reboot again.

  14. After installing your graphics card, Windows NT 4.0 will default to the
  15. standard VGA mode (640 x 480, 16 colors). The procedure below describes
  16. how to install ASUS V3000 Series display drivers for Windows NT 4.0.
  17.  
  18. Installing ASUS V3000 Series display drivers for Windows NT 4.0:
  19. -------------------------------------------------------------
  20. 1.  Start up Windows NT in VGA mode.
  21. 2.  Run the Windows NT Display program located in the Control Panel, under
  22.     "Settings" in the Start menu or right click the mouse button on the
  23.     desktop and select "Properties" from the popup menu.
  24. 3.  Select the "Settings" tab.
  25. 4.  Select "Display Type...".
  26. 5.  Select "Change..." from the display options.
  27. 6.  Select "Have Disk..."
  28. 7.  NT will prompt you for the correct path, enter the path of the driver
  29.     such as D:\NT40 (assuming your CD-ROM drive is letter D)
  30. 8.  A list of ASUS V3000 Series video adapters will be displayed. Select
  31.     the one you are using, then click on the "OK" button.
  32. 9.  Windows NT will once again prompt for confirmation.
  33.     All appropriate files are then copied to the hard disk.
  34. 10. Select "Apply" in Control Panel. Restart Windows NT.  Windows NT will
  35.     start up using the ASUS V3000 Series drivers.
  36. 11. NT will boot into a default mode and start the Display applet allowing
  37.     for mode selection.
