  6. In some rare situations, you might need to create text notes in your drawing
  7. to manually simulate dimensions that DesignWave cannot apply automatically in this
  8. release. There is no simple way to enter special symbols when you edit the
  9. text for a note on the drawing. Instead, you can open the SYMBOLS.CVD drawing
  10. and copy the text from the samples provided.

  12. Choose the symbol you want.
  13. Double-click on that symbol to bring up its properties.
  14. Copy the text shown.
  15. Cancel the Properties dialog to dismiss the window.
  16. Double-click on the note in your drawing.
  17. Paste in the symbol at the required position in your note.

  19. The symbols will not display properly in the edit field in the dialog window,
  20. but the symbol will appear correctly on your drawing when you press the OK button.
