  5.     Update of the European MDMZYXLG.INF modem definition script file
  6.           for the ZyXEL Elite 2864, Omni 288S analog V.34 modems
  7.        and the ZyXEL Elite 2864I, Omni TA128 ISDN terminal adapters
  8.  
  9.                Now this file is for both operating systems:
  10.                      Microsoft Windows95 v4.00.950(a)
  11.            Microsoft WindowsNT v4.00.1381 (aka "official release")

  18. Please copy this new "MDMZYXLG.INF" (internal rev. 53, 11/16/1996) into your
  19. "\WINDOWS\INF\" directory (which is a hidden (!) directory) and overwrite
  20. your old file. Check that there don't exist any "OEMx.INF" (x is a digit)
  21. files for the ZyXEL modems. You'll have to look into the "OEMx.INF" by
  22. opening it with the NOTEPAD.EXE (or any other ASCII editor). If the "OEMx.INF"
  23. starts with the header which lets you assume it is for ZyXEL modems, then
  24. please delete this file !
  25. Then install your ZyXEL Elite 2864 modem entries once again by using the
  26. "modems" wizard in the control panel - the Windows95 registry will be
  27. updated automatically.

  67.      the default B-channel protocols (X.75 for DSS1 and 1TR6, V.120 for USA)
  68.    + modified the settings for ISDN B-channel protocol V.120 (to access
  69.      CompuServe's ISDN nodes in Europe with a block length of 256 bytes)
  70.    + modified the settings for ISDN B-channel protocol BTX (with new
  71.      ZyXEL Elite 2864I ISDN firmware v2.03 (release date 07/12/96) to
  72.      the max. block length 125 bytes.
  73.    + modified (shortened) the user friendly text entries for the variouse
  74.      B-channel protocols - so now these entries are for both ISDN terminal
  75.      adapters: ZyXEL Elite 2864I and Omni TA128
  76.    + disabled (by default) V.42bis data compression on ISDN B-channel
  77.      protocols X.75 and V.120 to be backward compatible if using new
  78.      Elite 2864I ISDN firmware v2.03 or Omni TA128 firmware v1.00
  79.    + enabled (by default) the capture to logfile option.
  80.      Now all UNIMODEM commands will be protocoled in the
  81.      "\WINDOWS\MODEMLOG.TXT ASCII text file.

  83.    + added the voice commands for ZyXEL Elite 2864 and Omni 288S (analog
  84.      modems only) to be used with Microsoft's UNIMODEM/V comm port driver
  85.      upgrade for Windows95.
