  9. After implemented ATI3 for ISDN MODEM LINK STATUS REPORT,
  10. it cause the problem in Winfax Pro 4.0. For Winfax will
  11. request ATI3 (this is hardcoded) and expect OK from modem,
  12. but you should know after ATI3, the modem will report all
  13. the status in last call, but Winfax can not wait OK for a
  14. such long time, and keep request +FMFR? This is the problem
  15. why so many people report that they can not use WinFax after
  16. ZyXEL Elite 2864I ISDN firmware v2.00 though they choose the
  17. modem tpye "ZyXEL U-1496E+" and modify the initial string
  18. to be correct one.

  20. After deleting the I3 in the "wfxmod.exe" by debugger, now
  21. it can work again.
