  11. This is 1 of 6 files required to obtain the complete NetWare Client for Dos/MS
  12. Windows v1.21.(VLMs) This product currently ships with IntranetWare and NetWare
  13. v4.11. This version (v1.21) replaces all previous versions of the VLMs. These
  14. files may be used to create a client installation area on a NetWare Server or a
  15. local hard drive. Multiple Language support is included. (See ISSUES) The
  16. following files are required in order to download the complete client:
  17. VLM121_1.EXE, VLM121_2.EXE, VLM121_3.EXE, VLM121_4.EXE, VLM121_5.EXE,
  18. VLM121_6.EXE.

  31. ISSUE:

  33. This client kit replaces the previous client kit (VLMKT[1-5].EXE) as well as
  34. the VLM patch files, (VLMUP4.EXE and WINDR3.EXE). It supercedes all version
  35. 1.20x clients.
  36.  
  37.  This is 1 of 6 files required to obtain the complete NetWare Client for Dos/MS
  38. Windows v1.21.(VLMs) This product currently ships with IntranetWare and NetWare
  39. v4.11. This version (v1.21) replaces all previous versions of the VLMs. These
  40. files may be used to create a client installation area on a NetWare Server,  a
  41. local hard drive or make client installation diskettes. Language support for
  42. English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Portuguese is included. The
  43. following files are required in order to download the complete client:
  44. VLM121_1.EXE, VLM121_2.EXE, VLM121_3.EXE, VLM121_4.EXE, VLM121_5.EXE,
  45. VLM121_6.EXE.

  168. PROCEDURE:

  170.  UPGRADING THE CLIENT KIT ON A 4.x SERVER:
  171.        1. Extract all files into the same directory. Extract the files by
  172. typing VLM121_[1-6].EXE [path of directory to extract to]
  173.  
  174.       Example:  VLM121_1.EXE F:\PUBLIC\CLIENT\DOSWIN
  175.  
  176.  UPGRADING THE  WORKSTATION FROM THE FILESERVER:
  177.       1. Login the workstation and map a drive to the directory that you put
  178. the Client Kit in. Next, change to that drive and type INSTALL.EXE. Then follow
  179. the instruction in the installation program.
  180.  
  181.  MAKING CLIENT DISKETTES: 
  182.  If you desire a set of diskettes, follow the steps below.
  183.       1. Attach a label to each formatted ( 3.5", 1.44MB ) diskette and write
  184. the following on the corresponding labels.

  186.  Disk1: NetWare Client for DOS/MS Windows Disk1 (VLM121_1.EXE)
  187.  Disk2: NetWare Client for DOS/MS Windows Disk2 (VLM121_2.EXE)
  188.  Disk3: NetWare Client for DOS/MS Windows Disk3 (VLM121_3.EXE)
  189.  Disk4: NetWare Client for DOS/MS Windows Disk4 (VLM121_4.EXE)
  190.  Disk5: NetWare Client for DOS/MS Windows Disk5 (VLM121_5.EXE)
  191.  Disk6: NetWare Client for DOS/MS Windows Disk6 (VLM121_6.EXE)

  193.       2. Extract the files to the formatted ( 3.5", 1.44MB ) floppies, to  A:
  194. or the drive letter that is the 3.5" floppy. 
  195.        For example:  VLM121_1.EXE A:<ENTER>
  196.  
  197.  3. To install using these prepared diskettes, boot the DOS/MS Windows
  198. workstation and insert Disk1. Change to the floppy drive and type INSTALL.
  199.       For example: A: <ENTER>
  200.       INTALL <ENTER>
  201.       Follow the instructions in the installation program.
