  17. This archive contains two files:

  19. README.I95     -- this one
  20. 400I95.EXE       -- Release 4.00 Self-Extracting Archive

  23. Instructions:
  24. -------------
  25. Before you begin, you'll need a blank, formatted 1.44MB diskette.  The disk
  26. should be *completely* blank, as the files will take up nearly the entire 
  27. disk when they are unpacked.  Don't try to copy the self-extracting archive
  28. to the floppy disk and then expand it -- there just won't be enough room!
  29.  
  30. In the following instructions, we're going to assume you are using drive A:
  31. as your floppy drive and C:\TEMP as the directory where this README file,
  32. and the self-extracting archive, are located.  If you are using a different
  33. floppy drive or another directory or hard drive, just substitute the
  34. appropriate drive and/or directory for your installation.

  36. 1. Place a blank, formatted diskette into drive A: (or B:).
  37.  
  38. 2. Log onto the A: drive by typing:
  39.  
  40.    A: [Enter]
  41.  
  42. 3. Unpack the files by typing:
  43.  
  44.    C:\TEMP\400I95 /D [Enter]
  45.  
  46.    NOTE: The '/D' parameter is required!  It tells the self-extracting 
  47.    archive to correctly restore the subdirectories found on the original
  48.    diskette.  If you fail to use the '/D' option, the installation process
  49.    will fail.

  51. The self-extracting archive will then place all of the files onto the
  52. diskette, in the correct subdirectories.  Once this process is complete,
  53. you can remove the floppy diskette and label it like this:

  64. accompanying that archive for instructions on creating that diskette.
