  3. Requires:    Microsoft Windows 3.1, 95, or NT.
  4.              VBRUN300.DLL, sound card, 256-color VGA.

  6. Recommended: fast '486 or better.

  8. Optional:    Midi synthesizer.

  10. To install:  Unzip files to temporary subdirectory, then 
  11.              run SETUP.EXE from Windows.
  12.  
  13. To run:      Launch GUITAR WORKSHOP icon,
  14.              select "Lessons", then "TUTORIAL"
  15.  
  16. Benefits of
  17. registering: The demo version of Guitar Workshop only loads
  18.              a selected set of lessons and songs.  Registering
  19.              Guitar Workshop allows loading of other songs and
  20.              lesson modules.   It also enables the SAVE button
  21.              in the song editor.  A free lesson module called
  22.              "Cool Licks" is available from the Guitar Workshop
  23.              home page.  This Guitar Workshop lesson 
  24.          module is adapted from Junior Smith's "Cool Licks"
  25.              audio tape and tab sheets. Includes about 18 licks 
  26.          appropriate for jazz, rock, country, & blues.  
  27.              Intermediate level but also useful for beginners 
  28.              (at a slower tempo).  Includes chromatic scales, 
  29.              arpeggios, open string runs, ending runs, and chordal
  30.              licks.  In addition to Cool Licks, a few more songs
  31.              are available as well.  
  32.              Several other lesson modules and song-packs
  33.              are/will be available (all under $20).  Registered
  34.              users will be notified of these as they become
  35.              available.
