Wave File Runner - Recording Options
If you wish to record wave files, simply access the Wave File Runner and click the
"Record" button. The standard Windows recorder application will appear which will
allow you to record wave files for playback with the Wave File Runner and for use
with the RD/CD-ROM Runners.
To use the Windows Recorder, refer to your Windows users manual. Note that a
microphone and compatible sound board are required to record voices. This is
useful to record verbal instructions for a specific application and to associate
the wave file recorded with that application in the CD-Runner RD/CD-ROM Library
section. This will allow other users to hear the verbal instruction or help
message before the application is run.
As described in the Playing Wave Files help section, it is useful and convenient
to save and locate all wave files into the same directory, and to designate it as
the Default Wave Directory. This will allow the Wave File Runner to retrieve the
desired wave files as soon as it is run.
