  1. Audio CD Player - General Information

  3. If an Audio CD is placed into the CD-ROM drive, it is automatically identified
  4. and read by CD-Runner; an Audio CD Player faceplate (much like the actual 
  5. faceplate of many new audio CD players) will be displayed. The audio CD may 
  6. also be setup into the library with it's Title, Artist, Songs, Liner Notes, CD
  7. Jacket Graphics (or any other desired graphics); these will be displayed as the
  8. CD is run.

  10. All of the typical CD player functions are supported including full programming 
  11. capabilities, repeat mode, time functions, etc.. Other additions not normally 
  12. found on a CD player include a song status bar showing % of song completion 
  13. (click on this bar with the mouse to directly move to the associated position 
  14. in the song), and a "minimize" option which allows the CD to play without the 
  15. CD player screen displayed (a miniimized icon will display the Audio CD and 
  16. track #).

  18. ** NOTE: to use the CD player, you must have an "MCI CD player" driver loaded.
  19.    To load the driver (normally supplied with Windows), use the Windows Control
  20.    Panel, and select the "Drivers" & "Add" options; select the "[MCI] CD Audio"
  21.    driver from the list. If an MCI CD player compatible driver is not found or
  22.    does not work with your CD-ROM drive, the normal operation of the CD-ROM 
  23.    runner may be affected as well. In this case, disable the CD player until a
  24.    compatible setup can be achieved. The CD-ROM runner will normally function 
  25.    even in the event that the CD player setup does not work.The MCI CD player 
  26.    driver file is named "MCICDA.DRV" and is usually found in the 
  27.    WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirectory.
