  9.       The RAR archiver is shareware. This means:

  11.    1. All copyrights to RAR are exclusively owned by the author
  12.       - Eugene Roshal.
  13.  
  14.    2. Anyone may use this software during a test period of 40
  15.       days. Following this test period of 40 days or less, if
  16.       you wish to continue to use RAR, you MUST register.
  17.  
  18.    3. Once registered, the user is granted a non-exclusive license to 
  19.       use RAR on one computer (i.e. a single cpu), for any legal purpose, 
  20.       at a time.  The registered RAR software may not be rented or 
  21.       leased, but may be permanently transferred, if the person receiving 
  22.       it agrees to terms of this license.  If the software is an update, 
  23.       the transfer must include the update and all previous versions.

  25.    4. The RAR unregistered shareware version, may be freely distributed,
  26.       provided the distribution package is not modified. No person or 
  27.       company may charge a fee for the distribution of RAR without 
  28.       written permission from the copyright holder.

  30.    5. To register you must complete the registration form and send
  31.       it, with registration fee, to one of the authorized
  32.       registration sites, see RAR_SITE.TXT.

  34.    6. RAR ARCHIVER IS DISTRIBUTED "AS IS".  NO WARRANTY OF ANY
  35.       KIND IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  YOU USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
  36.       THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS, DAMAGES, LOSS
  37.       OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF LOSS WHILE USING OR MISUSING
  38.       THIS SOFTWARE.

  40.    7. There are NO additional license fees, apart from the cost of 
  41.       registration, associated with the creation and distribution of RAR 
  42.       archives, volumes, self-extracting archives or self-extracting 
  43.       volumes.  Legally registered owners may use their copies of RAR to 
  44.       produce archives and self-extracting archives and to distribute 
  45.       those archives free of any additional RAR royalties.

  47.    8. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify,
  48.       decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the
  49.       licensed program, or any subset of the licensed program, except as 
  50.       provided for in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall 
  51.       result in immediate and automatic termination of this license and
  52.       may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

  54.       All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by Eugene Roshal.

  56.    9. Installing and using RAR signifies acceptance of these terms
  57.       and conditions of the license.
