  6. License Agreement and Warranty Disclaimer

  8. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before
  9. using this software.  Use of this software indicates your acceptance of
  10. these terms and conditions.  If you do not agree with them, do not use
  11. the software.

  13. Shareware Version
  14.  
  15. You are hereby licensed to:  use the Shareware Version of the software
  16. for a 21 day evaluation period; make as many copies of the Shareware
  17. version of this software and documentation as you wish; give exact
  18. copies of the original Shareware version to anyone; and distribute the
  19. Shareware version of the software and documentation in its unmodified
  20. form via electronic means.  There is no charge for any of the above.

  22. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations,
  23. for any such copies, however made; and from distributing the software
  24. and/or documentation with other products (commercial or otherwise)
  25. without prior written permission, with one exception:  Disk Vendors
  26. approved by the Association of Shareware Professionals are permitted to
  27. redistribute AccuSet, subject to the conditions in this license, 
  28. without specific written permission.

  30. Unregistered use of AccuSet after the 21-day evaluation period is in
  31. violation of federal copyright laws.

  33. Evaluation and Registration
  34.  
  35. This is not free software.  This license allows you to use this software
  36. for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 21 days.  If you
  37. use this software after the 21 day evaluation period a registration fee
  38. of $10 is required.  Printed copies of the user manual are available for
  39. $7.50 each.

  41. Registration can be accomplished in the following ways:
  42.  
  43. 1.  Via the CompuServe Software Registration Forum (GO SWREG).  AccuSet's
  44.     software registration number is 2407.  This is generally the fastest
  45.     and most convenient method.  As soon as I receive your registration
  46.     notice, I will send you your access code via e-mail.
  47.  
  48. 2.  Send a check, money order or cash (Pennsylvania residents are 
  49.     required to add 6% sales tax).  Payments must be in US dollars 
  50.     and should be sent to Retsik Software, P.O. Box 50, 
  51.     Enola, PA 17025-0050.  When payment is received you will be sent a 
  52.     registration code and confirmation letter.  Please use the form
  53.     included in ORDER.DOC.

  55. 3.  Credit card orders via fax.  Print and complete the file ORDER.DOC.
  56.     Fax the completed form to (717) 732-5048.  (Visa / MasterCard only)

  75. One registered copy of AccuSet may be dedicated to a single person who
  76. uses the software on one or more computers or to a single workstation
  77. used by multiple people.

  79. You may access the registered version of AccuSet through a network,
  80. provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the software
  81. covering all workstations that will access the software through the
  82. network.

  84. Governing Law

  86. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania.

  88. Disclaimer of Warranty
  89.  
  90. This software and the accompanying files are sold "as is" and without
  91. warranties as to performance of merchantability or any other warranties.
  92. Because of the various hardware and software environments into which
  93. AccuSet may be put, no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose is
  94. offered.

  96. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be thoroughly
  97. tested with non-critical data before relying on it.  The user must
  98. assume the entire risk of using the program.  Any liability of the
  99. seller will be limited exclusively to product replacement or refund of
  100. purchase price.
