Compatibility with other Windows Apps
In general, CD-Runner has been found to be highly compatible with a wide range
of other Windows applications which may be running at the same time. One
notable exception to this involves applications which use the Windows timers.
Since CD-Runner also uses the timers, conflicts may occur. This usually happens
with communications applications.
Should a conflict exist, simply exit CD-Runner before running the conficting
communications application. If you are using the "CD-Runner ON TOP" option (see
the CD-Runner Setup section), then you may leave the floating icon on top and
simply exit the main CD-Runner program. After you have finished running the
conflicting application, be sure to close it before running CD-Runner again.
An added benefit of using the floating icon on top is to minimize the resources
used in Windows. Should another Windows application display a "resources low"
warning, then by exiting the main CD-Runner program and leaving only the
floating icon will free up Windows resources.
