  6. REGISTRATION   
  7. You may register on Compuserve by typing GO SWREG.  
  8. Then enter the product ID# 5269

  10. Or Print the Registration From and send it along with Check or Money
  11. Order to the Address Below.

  14. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  15. This Application requires Windows 3.1 or W.F.W.  3.11.
  16.  
  17. NOTE: This application also requires the file "VBRUN300.DLL" to be located in 
  18.       your "windows\system" Directory in order to load and run correctly.
  19.       
  20. IMPORTANT NOTE:
  21. After Running the Setup program... 
  22. The file "Ctl3dv2.dll" must not be located anywhere other than
  23. your Windows/System directory or an error will occur when you try
  24. to run Easy Icons.  If this file is located in your Easy Icons directory,
  25. Please move it to the windows\System directory and remove it from the
  26. Easy Icons directory.

  29. INSTALLATION
  30. Unzip the "Easy Icons" Files to a temporary directory and then run Setup.exe.
  31. you should see these files.

  33.     Setup.exe - Run this program for Easy installation.  For manual
  34.                 Installation, Place the following files in their proper
  35.                 Directories.
  36.  
  37.     Readme.txt - This is the file you are now reading.
  38.  
  39.     EasyIcon.exe - Put in the directory of your choice.
  40.  
  41.     Cmdialog.vbx - Copy to your "c:\Windows\system" directory. Unless you
  42.                    have a later version of this file allready there.
  43.     
  44.     Ctl3dv2.dll - Copy to your "c:\Windows\system" directory. Unless you
  45.                   have a later version of this file allready there.
  46.                   Make sure this file is only in your "c:\Windows\system"
  47.                   directory

  49.     Setupkit.dll - Used by setup.exe
  50.

  52.     Register.txt - Print this form to register this software.

  54.     EasyIcon.hlp - Also Put this file in the same directory with "EasyIcon.exe"

  58. If you have registered an earlier version of Easy Icons with us.
  59. There is a nominal registration fee of $5.00 to upgrade to v3.0. Please send
  60. your check or Money Order to the address below.

  62. DRAG AND DROP
  63. "Easy Icons" also supports drag and drop from the File Manager.  Drag
  64. any file from File Manager and drop it onto Easy Icons to view or extract
  65. any of it's icons.

  68. THIS IS SHAREWARE
  69. We ask that if you continue use this software after a reasonable trial
  70. period, that you register by sending $19.00 along with your Name, Address,
  71. and Phone number to the address below.  if you wish to recieve your registration
  72. via U.S. Mail, Please add $1.50 for shipping and state your media size 
  73. (3.5" or 5.25").  You may print the registration form from the Register.txt
  74. file or print the registration Topic from the Easy Icons Help file.

  80. VIDEO DRIVER PROBLEMS...
  81. If you are using a windows video driver that supports either 32k or 64k colors
  82. You may experience some problems with how the drag icon appears when draging icons.
  83. If this occurs, you may want to change your driver to either 256 or
  84. 16 million colors.  Some 32k and 64k Drivers such as the Cirrus 52xx,
  85. will cause a General Protection Fault.
