*** Tom's Pretty Good Solitaire 1.2 ***
9/25/95
IMPORTANT: This program requires the file VBRUN300.DLL in your
\windows\system directory. This file is probably available from
the same place that you found this program. In fact, since many
programs require this file, you may already have it.
To install, place all the .exe files in the same
directory. The file QCARD.DLL can go in the same
directory or in the \Windows directory. Each game is an
independent program, or can be used together with the
SOL.EXE menu program.
The easiest way to run the games is the run SOL.EXE.
If you find any bugs, or have any suggestions for features,
e-mail Tomstaaf1@aol.com, or on Compuserve, 75237,254. There
are many more games in development to be added to the program
in future versions.
Note to those who have Tom's Pretty Good Solitaire version 1.0
installed: If you install version 1.2 in the same directory as
1.0 (overwriting the version 1.0 files), I recommend deleting
the files TOMSOL.INI and FREECELL.GAM that were created by
version 1.0. This will avoid possible incompatibility problems.
Version 1.2 will create its own versions of these files.
Of course, installing 1.2 in a different directory will avoid any
problems as well. There should be no incompatibility problems with
version 1.1.
Version History
version 1.0 (7/19/95) - contained the original 5 games:
FreeCell Towers, Baker's Dozen, Golf, Fourteen Out, and
Yukon.
version 1.1 (8/15/95) - fixed some minor bugs in
FreeCell, Dozen, and Yukon. Added 5 new games: Busy Aces,
5 Piles, EastHaven, La Belle Lucie, and St. Helena.
version 1.2 (9/25/95) - added 5 new games - Spiderette,
Eagle Wing, Deuces, Perpetual Motion, and Storehouse.
