RETOUCH WINDOWS GRAPHIC IMAGE-PROCESSING MORPHING
Category:
__________
WINDOWS APPLICATION
Description:
_____________
QuickSilver ReTouch is a Windows Shareware Program for digital
image processing.
The application doesn't have any restrictions of functionality
and supports color depth up to 24-Bit TrueColor. On reduced
color depth, ReTouch operates with a dithering technique
(optionally with or without 'error diffusion'). With the
'Drag&Drop' method of the file manager, you can directly
load images and play AVI-Videos using the mouse. The inte-
grated 'ScreenShot' module enables ReTouch to capture the
Windows Desktop (resp. single windows or areas).
The application is capable to exchange marked areas in DIB
format with the clipboard. Paste options offer a variety
of image combinations, such as SUB,ADD,MUL,MIN,MAX,OR and
weighted combination.
With the integrated MORPHING module, you can compute Video
clips in the background, recorded and played back using the
AVI format (Audio Video Interlaced by Video for Windows).
The usual image transformations (Gamma correction, scaling,
color reduction a.s.o.) operate with qualifying options (RGB-
channel, interpolation, error diffusion).
In the ToolBox window, you select drawing tools and the pre-
view area lets you estimate the effect of color functions.
You can also select the current image filter or adjust the
display area with zoomed images.
The Windows Online Help offers a context sensitive and
detailed description for all of the ReTouch functions.
With ReTouch you can:
- print an image on a Windows printer,
- acquire an image from a TWAIN device,
- combine the contents of the clipboard with an image,
- display an image with different resolution (zoom),
- change the size of an image (scale),
- turn an image in steps of 90 degrees,
- rotate an image by a desired angle,
- apply a digital filter on the image,
- increase or decrease the color depth of an image,
- make a Gamma correction of the image,
- set color, brightness, and contrast like a television,
- change the weight of each color component (RGB),
- separately adjust the contrast specifically,
- get additional color information and transformation,
- create ScreenShots from the Windows Desktop,
- color each pixel with the current drawing color,
- quadratic area filtering using the filter cursor.
Following image formats are supported:
- BMP all color depths
- GIF 2-256 colors
- HIC 32k colors
- TGA 16M colors
- JPG 16M colors (or 256 gray shades)
New in version 2.00:
- storable polygon markings
- preview function for the MORPHING module
- license manager
- multi linguistic implementation
- improvements in detail
