What can you do with Disk Haunting ?
====================================
- Browse your drive in the most efficient way
- You have functions NEVER seen in a Windows 95 program of the same
type (such as tagging in multiple folders, such as viewing a
branch of matching files, and so much more things that can't be
explained in this simple text document)
- You can view files in ASCII / Hexadecimal format
- You can hear multimedia files such as Midi, wav and more
- You can view a wide range of pictures including .jpg .bmp .pcx,
and more
- You can play .avi files
- All these 4 items are done internally by Disk Haunting, without
shelling to external applications
- You can do slide activities. You can tag files of sound and graphics
and later hear / display them in a slide mode
- You can open up to 5 drives at the same time
- You can execute DOS commands in a DOS box
- You can do almost anything with mouse, but it's real power rely in
its keyboard interface... (If you are curious you will discover, a
hidden keyboard interface background)
- You can compress / extract / view .zip and .arj files, but you must
have the executable files to do this. The program manages all this
in a very transparent way
- You will replace Windows explorer and related software for our
Disk Haunting
Future enhancements for version 1.5
===================================
- Prune / Graft functions
- Changing attributes of folders
- Internal ARJ / Zip support
- Drag and Drop of folders (mouse equivalent of the Graft function)
- Tag files and search strings on them
- Make folder contents comparisons
- Complete documentation, including help files
- And new things, sure
