  1. UNINSTALL ANY OLDER VERSIONS FIRST!
  2. Be sure to backup any copies of 
  3. your databases (.QDB) files, and
  4. your 'qlexplr.ini' (found in the
  5. QuikLink Explorer program folder
  6. on your harddrive).
  7.  
  8. To uninstall an older version go
  9. to the CONTROL PANEL, select the
  10. ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS option, and
  11. select the program you wish to
  12. uninstall.
  13.  
  14. To install the program, extract the
  15. contents of this zip file to a tem-
  16. porary folder.
  17.  
  18. 1) Run the VB5RT.exe file. This will
  19.    install the Visual Basic runtime
  20.    files needed for the program.
  21.  
  22. 2) Run the VB5DB.EXE file. This will
  23.    install the necessary database
  24.    support files needed by the program.
  25.  
  26. 3) Run the QLESETUP.EXE file. This will
  27.    install the program itself.
  28.  
  29. Please note that ALL THREE files must
  30. be run and installed!
