README.TXT file for Periodic Table SE v3.54 (32-bit)
------------------------------------------
Version 3.54 is a bug fix/data update for version 3.53. It fixes a bug
that causes the decay trees to be build improperly when a nuclide has
multiple decays of the same mode. It also updates the ELEMENT.TXT,
NUCLIDE.TXT and DAUGHTER.TXT files to reflect the new offical names
that were recently accepted by the IUPAC.
Version 3.53 is a bug fix for version 3.52. It fixes a bug that may
occur under Windows NT which causes the program to crash when opening
a Data window.
Version 3.52 is a bug fix for version 3.51. It fixes a bug where the
menu and tool bar button for Open Decay did not work.
Version 3.51 is a bug fix for version 3.5. It fixes a bug where the
atomic number field in the Data Window is always 0.
Version 3.5 is a significant upgrade from 3.0. It fixes a few small
bugs and adds new features. A quiz on chemical nomenclature has been
added. The decay trees can now be viewed in either the normal nuclide
box format or can optionally be displayed as icons representing the
different nuclides. The Options have been consolidated into one tabbed
dialog box. Specific gravity has been added to the data items provided
on each element. An element tool bar has been addes that allows the user
to change the element displayed by selecting a new element from a drop-
down list. The list may be sorted in either alphabetical or atomic
number order.
Periodic Table SE v3.5 (32-bit) requires Windows 95 or NT 4.0. If it is
installed on a Windows 3.x system, it will not run.
Version 3.5 is an enhancement version of Periodic Table. Registered
users of any version may upgrade for a minor fee of $10.00 (plus $3.50
s/h). See ORDER.TXT for ordering information.
If you are a CompuServe member just GO SWREG and register #5289 for the
16-bit version or #15248 for the 32-bit version. Sorry we cannot process
upgrades via SWREG.
