  14. We encourage you to use PGP to verify that the files in this
  15. archive were not tampered with. This document is not designed
  16. to explain to you how to use, install, or encrypt files with
  17. PGP.

  19. We have created a detached signature for the executable files
  20. in this package. You can get a copy of our PGP public key by
  21. sending a e-mail message to getpgp@command-hq.com The response
  22. will have our PGP public key. DO NOT TRUST ANY OTHER PUBLIC KEY
  23. REPOSITORIES!  OBTAIN OUR PUBLIC PGP KEY DIRECTLY FROM US!

  29. Assuming you have installed PGP and added the public key of Central
  30. Command Inc., you can verify each of the files by giving
  31. the command below. Please perform the verification for each file!

  34. pgp setup.pgp setup.exe

  36. You should then see something like this:

  38. File has signature.  Public key is required to check signature.
  39. File 'setup.$00' has signature, but with no text.
  40. Text is assumed to be in file 'setup.exe'.

  42. Good signature from user "Central Command Inc. <support@command-hq.com>".

  44. If, instead, you get a "bad signature" message, it means that either you
  45. are using the wrong signature, or that the file has been tampered
  46. with. If this happened please contact us as soon as possible!
