  2. Version 5.0 for Windows 95/98/NT

  5. New for version 5.0!

  7. A History Log file has been added to capture all status code changes
  8. by each employee.  The History Log Report can be printed to view the
  9. status codes changes.  This report is available for Administrative
  10. Security Level only.  Two other reports were added: Employee List and
  11. and Employee List by Department repot.
  12.  
  13. In version 4.x, Status Code Descriptions can be added/editing/deleted 
  14. in the Status Codes Set-up.  The status codes data file uses a different
  15. technique for storing status codes.  Therefore, after you install
  16. this version, you will need to update the status of every employee
  17. since the status code stored for each employee won't match the
  18. new data file.  This is a one-time occurance.

  20. Version 4.x and 5.0 are not compatiable with the DOS Sign In/Out version.
  21. If you still have employees using the DOS version of the Sign In/Out
  22. program, then DO NOT UPDATE to version 4.0.  The most recent version
  23. of Scotland Yard that still works with the DOS version is Scotland Yard
  24. version 3.1 and can be downloaded from the web site
  25. (www.yale-software.com).

  27. If you have an older version prior to 4.1, you must apply the 4.1 update
  28. before installing version 5.0.

  31. Run the setup.exe to update your Scotland Yard files.
