  2. Software License Agreement
  3. __________________________

  5. This is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or an entity), the
  6. end user, and SoftCentre, Inc.  If you do not agree to the terms of this
  7. agreement, delete this evaluation software from your machine within 30 days.
  8.  
  9. The computer program you, the Licencee, are about to install - "Publicity" -
  10. referred to in this agreement as "the Software", is owned by SoftCentre
  11. Incorporated ("SoftCentre") and is protected by United States and International
  12. Copyright Laws.
  13.  
  14. The Licensee is the person, or in the case of an employee or officer of a
  15. company, the company, who accepts these terms and installs the software.
  16. SoftCentre grants to Licensee a nonexclusive, nontransferrable license
  17. ("the License") to use the Software on a single compatible computer for a period
  18. of 30 days for evaluation purposes
  19.  
  20. Licensee may copy the Software to the hard disk of the single computer and
  21. may make one backup copy of the Software only for archival purposes. All
  22. trademark and copyright notices must be faithfully reproduced and included on
  23. the backup copy.
  24.  
  25. Licensee may not:
  26.  
  27. *    Loan, rent, lease or sublease any portion of the Software.
  28. *    Disassemble, decompile or otherwise reverse engineer the Software.
  29. *    Alter, adapt, merge, translate, or in any way modify the software.
  30.  
  31. Licensee agrees that the use of the Software is entirely at Licencees own
  32. risk.
  33.  
  34. SoftCentre disclaims and excludes any and all implied warranties of
  35. merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement
  36. except as contained in this agreement. SoftCentre shall not be liable for
  37. any special, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages even
  38. if SoftCentre has been informed of the possibility of such damages.
  39. SoftCentre is not responsible for any loss of business profits, business
  40. interruption, loss of data, damage to equipment, or other pecuniary loss
  41. arising from the use of the Software.
  42. AS A SPECIFIC,  SOME ADHESIVE LABEL MANUFACTURERS
  43. WARN AGAINST THE PRACTICE OF PASSING ADHESIVE LABEL
  44. SHEETS THROUGH PRINTER MECHANISMS MORE THAN ONCE.
  45. BEFORE Licensee ATTEMPTS SUCH AN OPERATION Licensee
  46. IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ESTABLISHING THAT SUCH OPERATION
  47. WILL NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PRINTER. NO WARRANTY OF
  48. THE SUITABILITY OF THE SOFTWARE FOR SUCH OPERATIONS
  49. IS IMPLIED. IN ANY CASE SoftCentre ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY
  50. FOR ANY DAMAGE OF ANY KIND OR FOR ANY LOSS OF TIME
  51. OR INCONVENIENCE ARISING FROM THE USE OF ADHESIVE
  52. LABEL SHEETS OF ANY SORT IN ANY WAY WITH ANY PRINTER.

  54. U.S. Government Restricted Rights

  57. The Software and accompanying documentation is provided with restricted
  58. rights.  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the U.S. Government is subject to
  59. restrictions as set forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical
  60. Data and Computer Software clause at DFARS 252-227-7013 or
  61. subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial Computer Software -
  62. Restricted Rights at CFR 52.227-19, as applicable. The Manufacturer is
  63. SoftCentre Inc, 30 Petersburg Road, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
