Thankyou for downloading EyeBrowse from SMP, a fast and easy to use graphic viewer for Windows 95/98. EyeBrowse is a completely free program, developed for the users, not for profit. We hope you will enjoy using this product and continue to support SMP in the future.
*Installation*
The installation for EyeBrowse is the same for both options. You should have been given the choice of downloading EB with and without the Visual Basic 5 runtime files, which are required for IB to work on your computer.
To install EyeBrowse, simply double click on the "self-extracting" zip file and this will extract all the files needed to "C:\EmBr_Temp".
For more help on this see the Spark Multimedia Productions Support pages.

*About EyeBrowse*
EyeBrowse is a small yet extremely useful program for viewing images of many graphical formats. It has been designed to be fast, useful and simple to use, built on by the feedback that users of other versions have provided.
*Version History*
Release 1.5 - The latest version, and the one that you have downloaded to be reading this. Includes an improved interface, scroll bars and Favourites, amongst many other great changes. The most major update to EyeBrowse ever.
EyeBrowse is called "Image Browser" below!
Release 1.0b - This version fixed many bugs that were present in version 1.0, such as the annoying 'revert to stretched' problem and non-functional bug reporting. Reached 100 downloads within 3 days of its release!
Release 1.0 - The first official release of Image Browser that was made available to the public. Featured a simple to use interface, support for many graphical formats and an update wizard to automatically update Image Browser if a new version was available.
Beta 3.9 - The final beta to be made before the release version. This version featured a better interface than the previous beta, and was beginning to look like version 1.0.
Beta 3.6 - The first Image Browser to have a radically different interface from the original design of the first Image Browser.
Beta 3.5 - This version included options to customise the interface in limited ways. Didn't really work though.
Beta 3.1 - Introduced a delete image button, later removed due to the fact that aftr it had been pressed, even pressing the cancel button still deleted the image without even sending it to the recycle bin.
Beta 3 - Had an option to select the size of the window when starting up, either small or large. This was the first version to feature the 'update wizard', which is still used in a similar form for all later versions.
Beta 2.1 - Back to small window style. Little change over beta 2 apart from this.
Beta 2 - Messy maximised-only version. Browsing window had an obviously incorrect aspect ratio that made browsing desktop images irritating. Full screen option available for viewing whole image non-stretched.
Beta 1.4 - The earliest incarnation of Image Browser known. This version was created as litle more than a textbook excercise. But look what became of it! Even in this form Image Browser featured a update system to show if there was a newer version available.
