  1. Text-to-Web:

  3. Text-to-Web is a 32-bit tool to convert text documents to html format. 
  4. It now incorporates integrated clipboard support which provides an 
  5. almost seamless operation for web authors who want to include snippets 
  6. of text (formatted or unformatted) into their web pages.

  8. Main Features:
  9. --------------
  10.     - Operate in either command-line or interactive mode.
  11.     - HTML formatting handles line and column sensitive text 
  12.       (e.g. lists and tables).
  13.     - The Pro version can also generate HTML tables and Link 
  14.       Selection box.
  15.     - Small footprint for easy placement and access (Pro only)
  16.     - Select font face and size.
  17.     - Integrated clipboard support.
  18.     - Generate free-standing web page or convert text snippets
  19.       for insertion into an existing HTML document.

  21. Installation: 
  22. -------------
  23. To install unzip into a temporary folder and type Setup. This 
  24. application requires VB40032.DLL (available separately).
  25.  
  26. To uninstall, use the normal Win95 procedure - click on the 
  27. "Add/Remove programs" in Control Panel and select Text2Web.

  29. Command-line Operation:
  30. ------------------------
  31.         Usage:    Txt2Web Filename
  32.  
  33.         where     Filename is the full-name of the text file to be 
  34.         converted. 
  35.         Output filename is automatically assigned as: Filename.html
  36.  
  37. Interactive Mode:
  38. -----------------
  39. To run in the interactive mode run "Txt2Web.exe" without any parameters..

  47. The software is freely distributable via all media, providing no 
  48. charge is made (except for areasonable handling charge) and all files 
  49. in this package are included. If different conditions prevail then 
  50. written permission from the author is required.

  54. Text2Web is freeware and as such no payment is necessary or required. 
  55. Text2Web Pro, however, requires the payment of a fee before a licence 
  56. is granted. See the help file for details.
