  4. Create album folders within the subfolder labeled ╥diskdriver╙, in your album folders place your mp3 files, all your songs must be in subfolders and all your songs must end with .mp3.

  6. Upload diskdriver.swf, diskdriver.html, and the ╥diskdriver╙ directory to your website.

  8. Browse the diskdriver.html file and your songs are online!

  12. DiskDriver can display song titles, so name your files how you would like them to display.

  18. To update or change your songs or albums simply upload, delete or rename your songs and album directories, that's it!

  22. Change the spinning or static skin by simply placing a jpg 200X200 in the "covers" folder in the same directory diskdriver.swf is in. Label the jpeg either "cdrom_spin1.jpg" or "cdrom1.jpg". The number coincides with albums in your play list.

You must run DiskDriver from a World accessible URL and have directory listings enabled for your "diskdriver" folder (meaning, if you browse the subfolder "diskdriver" from your web browser you should be able to see all your album folders, if you do not have a website you can use Personal Web Sharing to run song files from your computer remotely. Otherwise try our "classic" version which does not require an accessible url or directory listings to be enabled at: http://www.visualsteel.net/diskdriver_classic.shtml

  29. The DEMO will not work indefinately, registering DiskDriver let's you:

  31. Specify any song or album to start on any page of your site, different pages and start with different songs.

This is demo software, although it will function like the paid version, it will eventually go into ╥demo mode╙ as each new release of the software is available. At which time, you will have to download a new demo to continue using (this is not the case for subscribers, who will be able to unlock any new release as they become available by simply downloading the new ╥demo╙). We encourage you to share this application, but ask that if you intend to use it for business or often, that you pay for it once you have it working.
