  6. This document covers information that will help you install and
  7. use PC-Telephone (R). Please, read this entire document.

  10. INTRODUCTION
  11. -----------------------------------------------------------------
  12. PC-Telephone is a powerful communications software application
  13. that enables you to exploit the full communications potential of
  14. the Internet (IP) and the public telephone networks (ISDN/PSTN).
  15. PC-Telephone makes it possible to use your computer as a regular
  16. telephone, Internet telephone, fax machine, voicemail client,
  17. answer phone and much more...

  19. PC-Telephone is freely distributable shareware software. The
  20. registration information is available at www.pc-telephone.com

  23. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  25. Pentium 133 MHz or faster CPU, 16 MB RAM
  26. Sound Card (full duplex) with speakers/microphone or USB phone
  27. Communications Hardware (Ethernet, DSL, ISDN Modem, Voice Modem)
  28. Windows 95/98/98ME/2000/NT4/XP
  29. Communications Protocols (TCP/IP and/or CAPI 2.0)

  32. INSTALLATION
  33. -----------------------------------------------------------------
  34. PC-Telephone is distributed as a self-extracting compressed file.
  35. Before installing the new version, make sure that the old one is
  36. not running and uninstall it. To install PC-Telephone on your
  37. computer use the steps as follows:
  38.  
  39. - Run the PC-Telephone.exe installation file and follow the
  40.   instructions.
  41.  
  42. - Run PC-Telephone and customize the default PC-Telephone
  43.   settings from the MaináMenu - Options.
  44.

  48. To uninstall PC-Telephone from your PC run the Uninstaller from
  49. the PC-Telephone program group and follow the instructions.
