  4.     TaskInfo2003 is an utility that combines features of Task Manager
  5. and System Information. It visually monitors different types of
  6. system information in Windows 9x/ME/NT/2k/XP and allows to copy such
  7. information to clipboard or a text file. It also allows to run/stop
  8. processes and force shutdown/restart of system.

  10.     TaskInfo2003 is shareware program. You may use it for no more than 30 days
  11. for free, and you must register it after this trial period expires.

  14. where the program is installed.

  30.     ABOUT THE PROGRAM

  33.     TaskInfo2003 shows information about all running processes
  34. and threads (including Windows 9x ring0 VxD threads) in real time.
  35. Information about each process includes:
  36.     - threads        - CPU usage
  37.     - scheduling rate    - path
  38.     - open files        - command line
  39.     - environment variables - memory usage
  40.     - DLLs in usage        - and other
  41.  
  42.     System information includes:
  43.     - CPU, memory and cache usage
  44.     - data rates for disk, network, dial-up and other
  45.     - all open files
  46.     - CPU identification information (type, model/step etc.)
  47.     - loaded kernel drivers information
  48.     - OS version info and system directories
  49.     - logged user and computer name
  50.     - IP network host name and IP names/addresses on network adapters
  51.     - power status (including battery status for portable PCs)

  53.     TaskInfo also allows to:
  54.     - run new processes
  55.     - force termination of badly behaving processes
  56.     - change process priority
  57.     - shutdown/restart system

  60.     SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  63.     Minimal: Pentium 200 MHz or better is recommended
  64.     System:  Windows 9x/ME/NT/2k/XP
  65.              (Windows 3.x is not supported)

  67.     Single and multiple CPU systems are supported.

  69.     INSTALLATION
  70.     ============

  72.     To install the program on your computer, run 'Setup.exe'.
  73. It will copy all needed files to a directory that you want,
  74. create entries in the system 'Start' menu and update system information
  75. needed for proper work of TaskInfo2003.
  76.  
  77.     IMPORTANT: TaskInfo2003 must be installed by a user with
  78. administrative privileges in Windows NT/2k/XP; installation directory
  79. must be on a local drive under these systems. After successful installation
  80. any user on this computer can run TaskInfo.
