  13. License Agreement

  15. This End-User License Agreement (EULA) is a legal agreement between you 
  16. (either an individual or a single entity) and Alkonost Software for the 
  17. software product identified above, which includes computer software and may
  18. include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic 
  19. documentation (SOFTWARE PRODUCT). By installing, copying, or otherwise using
  20. the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.
  21. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the 
  22. SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  37. You must not (a) defeat, or try to defeat, messages in the SOFTWARE PRODUCT
  38. which encourage users to register; (b) modify or prepare derivative works of
  39. the SOFTWARE PRODUCT; (c) or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the
  40. SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  42. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, or 
  43. transfer the licensed SOFTWARE PRODUCT, or any subset of the licensed 
  44. SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except as provided for in this agreement.  Any such 
  45. unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of 
  46. this license and may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution.

  49. 2. Alkonost ContraCopy Demo License (Unregistered)

  51. You are hereby granted the right
  52. - to make as many copies of the DEMO SOFTWARE PRODUCT as you wish;
  53. - give exact copies (including all files) of the original DEMO SOFTWARE
  54.   PRODUCT to anyone;
  55. - distribute the DEMO SOFTWARE PRODUCT in its unmodified form via
  56.   electronic means.

  58. There is no charge for any of the above.
  59. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations, for
  60. any such copies (a small handling fee is acceptable).
  61. Diskettes created by means of Alkonost ContraCopy Demo are not licensed for 
  62. distribution.

  65. 3. Alkonost ContraCopy Standard License

  67. Once registered, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use SOFTWARE 
  68. PRODUCT on one computer at a time. 
  69. Standard Package includes the software for preparing of any number of
  70. ContraCopy key diskettes for distribution of ONE application. 
  71. You can distribute this diskettes with your software without any royalties.
  72. The registered SOFTWARE PRODUCT may not be rented or leased.

  75. 4. Alkonost ContraCopy Professional License
  76. =================================================
  77. Once registered, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use SOFTWARE 
  78. PRODUCT for all developers in the single organization for an area of up to
  79. one hundred miles (160 km) in radius.
  80. Professional Package includes the software for preparing of any number
  81. of ContraCopy key diskettes for distribution of FIVE applications.
  82. You can distribute this diskettes with your software without any royalties.
  83. The registered SOFTWARE PRODUCT may not be rented or leased.

THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE SOFTWARE PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

IN NO EVENT WILL THE AUTHOR OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY HAVE DISTRIBUTED THE SOFTWARE AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS), EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
